Pumpkin Spice LOCOCO
INGREDIENTS
1-2 TB LOCOCO cocoa mix
4 oz water
2-3 TB pumpkin purée
8 oz oat milk (rec: @oatly Barista Blend)
1 TB sugar (rec: @lakanto powdered monkfruit sweetener)
1/2 tsp pumpkin spice mix (2:2:1 parts cinnamon, ginger + nutmeg—freshly ground whole nutmeg is best)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
EQUIPMENT
Saucepan
Powerful handheld frother to blend
A mug (for fun carve a mini pumpkin into one)
STEPS
1. Make LOCOCO hot cocoa with 4 oz hot water (160-170 degrees F). Blend with handheld frother. Pour into your mug.
2. Make pumpkin spice oat milk: Heat the milk in a saucepan to 140-150 degrees F. While the oat milk simmers, add the pumpkin purée, sugar, spice mix, and vanilla extract. Blend with a powerful handheld frother (recommended: @subminimal NanoFoamer without the screen).
4. Immediately pour the pumpkin spice oat milk over the LOCOCO already in your mug.
